My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine began ten years ago when I first started exploring my own health and happiness through mindfulness meditation. I quickly realized that a happy mind and a healthy body are directly connected.
I graduated with a Master’s in Science of Oriental Medicine and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine from Dongguk University Los Angeles. My education emphasized integrating traditional medicine with modern research and technology, combining Eastern and Western medicine to shape a truly holistic approach to healthcare and wellness.
Although my initial interest in acupuncture was sparked by exploring consciousness and mental health, my training focused heavily on neuromuscular-skeletal pain. A teacher once told me, “If you want to make people happy, learn to take their pain away.” This deeply resonated with me, reinforcing the mind-body connection that drew me to this field. Practicing acupuncture and TCM brings me profound joy.
I have dedicated my life to understanding happiness and suffering through both nature and science. I believe that regardless of the condition, there is always an opportunity to reduce suffering, balance the mind, and promote self-healing. In addition to studying medicine, I am a visual artist, musician, and storyteller. My goal is to help others orient themselves with their healing story through creativity, imagination, and understanding. Education is central to my practice. I am committed to helping everyone, including myself, learn to live a long and happy life in whatever way works best for them. This is the Art of Healing.
